Dossier
My perspective is my most valuable attribute.
I have been blessed with the opportunity to see and experience the world as well as the inner confidence, fearlessness, and perseverance to pursue it.
I grew up in the Golden State, in a small beach town in Southern California. I am a big city girl at heart but I can never fully deny my laid-back hippie roots. Having fallen in love with New York at such a young age, it seemed only right I would head there next for college. So I jumped from the West Coast to the East Coast despite never having moved in my entire 18 years of life. That move gave me the fresh start I desired and taught me the liberation and power of true independence.
I was then presented with the opportunity to study in Florence, Italy. So I moved to Europe for a year, despite never traveling outside of the United States before. During this time I immersed myself in as many different cultures as possible. Taking in the rich history, art, and beauty all with wide-eyed admiration. I learned here that through observation and appreciation, inspiration evolves.
I then realized that my history is important to observe and appreciate as well. Just under a decade of my childhood was spent acting, singing, and performing. My theatrical roots taught me the ability to relate to others, to access raw human emotion, and to use it to communicate and powerfully tell a story. The entertainment industry is where I learned how to prioritize, to work under pressure, as well as relentless resilience. And from a more visual standpoint, I often see the extravagance and drama of performance reflected in my creative concepts.
My spiritual journey heavily impacts my approach to interacting with the world as well as my art. I now know how to remain present enough to notice, to pin-point patterns and appeal to client desires. And through many lessons, I have learned the importance of trusting and following my intuition. I believe this wisdom and star-like essence is the source of my brilliance and innovation.
This is my unique perspective that I bring with me in a bag to all of my art projects.
I approach life as an artist with a keen creative eye, a heightened sense of detail, and a spiritually avant-garde mindset, who of course, always leads with the heart and soul.
